My mother taught me to crochet many years ago. I started again when I befriended a snowboarder, and I became his caregiver when he was very ill. During the many hours he spent in a hospital bed dreaming of snowboarding again, I started crocheting beanies for him. My friend, also an artist, introduced me to Arts Alive and gave me an outlet to sell my beanies.
I have always loved taking photos and I use some of those photos for cards that are sold here in the gallery.
